The Author

SANDRA HURET

Biography

Born in France, Sandra Huret is professor and author. She has studied both Music and Psychology and finally completed her degrees in Cognitive Psychology, envisioning to develop a new discipline - The Psychology of Creativity - mixing Psychology, Art and Science. Her work focuses on creativity, emotions, cognitive mechanisms (intuitive and rational). In order to sustain the work and to keep alive the idea of the famous psychologist and neurologist Alexander Luria, she carries out  individual researches or collective studies working on different projects. In order to bridge the gap between experimental and naturalistic approaches, her work remains multivariate. First and foremost, she wishes to preserve the psychology as disciplines turned to human being and their emotions ; “The psychology as a romantic science” according to the definition of Luria himself.
